S.R. Balasubramanian brings three decades of experience in foundry technology, welding metallurgy, non-ferrous bases, and corrosion science. He has deep knowledge of metals and the failures arising in different manufacturing processes. His futuristic vision added a wide range of test facilities at Microlab. Balasubramanian is a postgraduate in Metallurgy from IISc and a renowned metallurgist and an active participant in ASM (Chennai Chapter). He built Microlab from its nascent days to an institution of repute over these 20 years following the best practices of ISO 17025.

Sudharsan is the Director of Microlab. He is passionate about Engineering solutions to real-world problems. He is relentlessly working towards a quality world through the testing of materials used in everyday applications. Sudharsan focuses on a safer and higher quality environment by ensuring that the appropriate materials are available to people. He is a postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He brings extensive knowledge of Paint inspection and has established new verticals in fatigue, plastic, and paint testing. Sudharsan leads Microlab’s expansion into wider and critical testing capabilities, ardently following the best practices of ISO 17025.
